Radar sensors

Intelligent sensing solutions for precise level detection

The functional principle of radar level measurement is based on electromagnetic waves. A radar sensor emits a wave that is reflected by objects and evaluated by the sensor. There are two types of radar sensors: free-beam and guided. Free-beam radar sensors transmit the waves without contact using special antennas. Guided radar sensors, on the other hand, use a probe (rod or rope) as a waveguide, which is in direct contact with the medium to be measured.
