Primary flow elements for special requirements

Our portfolio of primary flow elements consists of orifice plates, meter runs, flow nozzles, venturi tubes, pitot tubes, wedge meters, and proprietary designs. All our primary flow elements are designed in accordance with the principles and requirements of international standards (ISO 5167/ISO TR 15377, ASME MFC, ASME PTC6, and ASME PTC 19.5). We offer calibration certificates in accordance with the ASME PTC6, ASME MFC 3Ma, and ASME PTC 19.5 as well as others by request. With our extensive product range, we are able to cover almost all industrial applications. Customized solutions can be developed to meet your specific needs.
FAQ
FAQ

What are the advantages of pitot tubes?

Pitot tubes are simple to use and install. They operate trouble-free with a constant performance and have practically no pressure drop. With pitot tubes, a cost effective measurement and energy saving is possible. They can be used either as a perma ...

How does cavitation occur?

Cavitation occurs with high flow velocities or when an object moves through a flow with high velocity. It can also occur if the local pressure declines to some point below the vapour pressure of the liquid and subsequently rises above it.

What are restriction orifices for and when are they used?

Restriction orifices are used to achieve a controlled or restricted flow. They prevent a too high loading of the primary flow element, and also prevent the possibility of cavitation. Restriction orifices can also be used for controlling the pressur ...
