Returns and recycling

Returns and recycling in the EU, UK, EFTA

As a company that acts globally, the WIKA Group is aware of its responsibility as a manufacturer and wishes to contribute to environmental protection through the correct disposal of old equipment.

CrossedOutWheelieBin_en-co

The crossed-out wheelie bin marking indicates that the instruments must be disposed of separately and must not be placed in unsorted municipal waste. This is to prevent negative effects on the environment and people's health. We would like to point out that the user is responsible for the removal of batteries. The same applies to the deletion of personal data.

In order to ensure that the disposal is always correct and environmentally friendly, we work together with RENE AG within the framework of WEEE (Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment). This recycling network ensures that old equipment is recycled in an environmentally friendly manner in the respective country. All RENE AG partners are certified in accordance with the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.

Information on returns

  • When returning the instrument, the original packaging or a suitable transport packaging must be used
  • In order to avoid damage, label the shipment as transport of a highly sensitive measuring instrument
