New sensing technology for ventilation and air-conditioning: High measurement accuracy, modular structure and IIoT capability

WIKA has expanded its A2G family with three new measuring instruments. These complement WIKA’s smart sensing portfolio for ventilation and air-conditioning systems in public and commercial buildings. The new instruments, A2G-500, A2G-520 and A2G-540, feature a high measurement accuracy, modular structure and robust design. They can be easily integrated into both new and existing air-handling units.

The A2G-500 measures differential pressure, gauge pressure and vacuum with a measurement accuracy of ±0.5 %. The A2G-520 is used on components such as ventilators, where it measures the pressure difference and calculates the air flow precisely based on a calibration factor. The A2G-540 is used to control differential pressure and air flow.

Analogue, digital or radio

The A2G family offers a future-proof solution, since the new instruments support all signal transmission paths. They can be integrated into control systems or an IIoT cloud environment via an analogue or digital signal as well as via radio (LoRaWAN®).

Modularly expandable

The modular design allows users to extend functionality as required by means of additional options such as display, relays or additional inputs and outputs. Commissioning and operation using the WIKA app is simple and user-friendly. The weatherproof instruments are robust and, thanks to automatic zero point setting, even maintenance?free. The traffic light function of the display shows critical plant statuses at a glance.
